The Humble Beginnings
Our story began in a family home in Verwood, where our founder, Nettie Platt, started questioning the commercial pet food she was feeding her pets. Working as an assistant in a local veterinary practice, Nettie was already deeply involved with animals and had already began to research the diets of her pet’s. Her path crossed with a New Zealand vet who shared her belief in the power of a raw diet and nutrition over commercial drugs. Then when Fred, the family boxer, was diagnosed with cancer, Nettie knew it was time to make a change. She swapped out dry kibble for freshly prepared raw meals, and the results were astonishing. Fred's health improved almost instantly, and Nettie knew she had stumbled upon a miracle diet.
